How to Connect Confluence to Transkriptor

Step 1: Start from the Transkriptor App

Open the Integrations tab in your Transkriptor dashboard, find Confluence, and click Connect.

Step 2: Authorize with Atlassian

You'll be redirected to Atlassian's authorization screen. Under Use app on, select your Atlassian site. Transkriptor will request the following permissions:

In Confluence, it would like to:

• View — confluence-content.all, confluence-space.summary, Page, Space details

• Update — confluence-content, Page

In User, it would like to:

• View — me

Click Accept to grant access and return to Transkriptor.

Step 3: Configure Your Confluence Settings

Once connected, the Confluence Settings modal will open. Configure the following:

• Cloud — Select your Atlassian site where pages will be created (e.g. yourcompany-team.atlassian.net)

• Space — Select the Confluence space where meeting pages should be saved

• Include Summary — Toggle on to add the AI meeting summary to each page (on by default)

• Include Audio Link — Toggle on to add a clickable link to the audio recording (on by default)

• Include Transcript Link — Toggle on to add a clickable link to the full transcript (on by default)

Click Save to apply your settings.

Step 4: Done — Pages Are Created Automatically

The integration is now active. After each meeting, a new page will appear automatically in your chosen Confluence space.

To verify it's working, open your Confluence space. You'll see the meeting page listed in the space sidebar and Recent updates — titled with the meeting name and date (e.g. amazon_second - 2026-07-21 14:15), and containing the meeting date, type, AI summary, and full transcript.

Note: Transkriptor creates pages only in the space you select. You can change the site or space anytime from the integration settings.

What Happens After Each Meeting

Once connected, after a meeting finishes processing and the AI summary is ready, Transkriptor creates a Confluence page in your selected space.

Each page includes:

• Title: the meeting name followed by the date and time

• Meta line: the date and type (Meeting or Transcription)

• Meeting Summary — the AI-generated summary (optional)

• Transcript — the full transcript text (optional)

• Audio Recording — a clickable link to the recording (optional)

If a page with the same title already exists, Transkriptor automatically adds the time to the title to avoid duplicates. Very long transcripts are trimmed to fit Confluence's page limits.

Configure Your Settings

Manage these from the Confluence Settings in the Transkriptor app.

How to Disconnect

To stop creating pages, go to Transkriptor app → Integrations → Confluence → Disconnect. This revokes Transkriptor's access to your Atlassian account. Pages already created in Confluence are not affected.
