This integration is for automatically transcribing your new files in Dropbox with Transkriptor through Zapier. It offers numerous benefits that can streamline your workflow and enhance productivity:

Log into your Zapier account, or create one if you don’t have an account. Click "Create" and "Zaps" buttons from the left bar.
Click "Trigger" and select Dropbox as the app.
Click "Action" and choose Transkriptor as the app to transcribe your audio or video files uploaded to Dropbox. You can use the search bar to find Transkriptor if it is not listed.
Click on the "Dropbox" step to configure the trigger. The integration configuration for Dropbox will be specified here.
Make sure to pick "New File in Folder" event. Whenever you upload a new file to this folder it will be automatically transcribed. Only upload audio or video files to this folder to avoid integration errors.
Select the space and the folder that you want to upload your audio or video files for automatic transcription. Make sure that you have an audio or video file in this folder for testing your integration before it becomes live.
Choose a file from your folder for testing and click "Continue with selected record". Make sure it is audio or video (mp3, mp4, wav, mkv) file to avoid errors in testing step.
Click on Transkriptor step on Zapier. Authenticate your account via your API key on <a href="https://app.transkriptor.com/account" class="text-decoration-underline">https://app.transkriptor.com/account</a> page, click copy icon then paste it to the authorization window in Zapier.
In "Action" Tab,
To set transcription name properly, pick "File Name" option from available fields list.
To set the audio or video file that will be transcribed, pick "File" from available fields list.
Transcription Language: Ensure the spoken language in your audio files matches the language you select here.
Service: Choose "Standard" to get transcription or choose "Subtitle" to generate captions.
Folder: You can view your Transkriptor folders and pick one to upload your transcriptions. You can pick the "Recent Files" folder to save your Transcription in files section.
Click "Test step" button to test the integration. Testing will ensure that your integration runs smoothly before it becomes live.
A response with "Transcription ID" will be returned, indicating successful transcription. Click "Publish" to make your Zap live. Once your integration becomes live, all audio or video files from your Dropbox folder will be transcribed with Transkriptor.

Log into your Zapier account. Click "Create" and "Zaps" buttons from the left bar.

Click "Action" and choose Dropbox as the app. Your new transcriptions will be exported to your Dropbox account.
Click on the "Transkriptor" step to configure the trigger. You will specify the configuration of your transcription exported to Dropbox here.
Click to copy your API key on https://app.transkriptor.com/account page and paste it to the Transkriptor authorization window in Zapier.
Choose the folder that you want to monitor for new transcriptions. When a new transcription inside this folder is completed, the Zap will be triggered to export the transcription to Dropbox.
Specify export parameters to export your files as you desire. Available options are as follows:
Export Format: pdf, docx, txt
Paragraph Size: 1 line, 2 lines, 4 lines, 8 lines.
Include Timestamps: Yes, No.
Include Speaker Names: Yes, No.
Merge Same-Speaker Segments: Yes, No.
Choose a Transcription from your profile. This Transcription will be used to test your integration while creating your Zap.
Choose "Upload File" for the event.
Select the folder that you want to export your transcriptions to. Your transcription file will be placed inside this folder in Dropbox.
Make sure to select the "Download URL" field for the File input. This will ensure that your transcription will be exported correctly and accessed without any issues.
Make sure to select the "File Name" field for the Specify File Name input. This will ensure that your transcription will be uploaded with the correct file extension to Dropbox. Leave "Specify File Extension" blank as the extension is included in the file name.
Click "Test step" button to test the integration. Testing will ensure that your integration runs smoothly before it becomes live.
Response data with "ID" will be returned from Dropbox, indicating successful file upload. Click "Publish" to make your Zap live.
Once your integration becomes live, all transcriptions from your Transkriptor folder will be exported to your Dropbox folder.
