What You Can Do
Once connected, Claude works with transcripts already in your Transkriptor account. It does not upload new audio or edit any files.

| "Quote the customer's pricing objection word for word" | Finds and returns the exact quote from the transcript |
| "Export my latest transcription as a PDF" | Generates a PDF and returns a temporary download link |
| "How many minutes do I have left?" | Shows your remaining transcription minutes and subscription plan |
Example Conversation
You: List my latest transcription.
Claude + Transkriptor: Your latest transcription is: weekly_standup — created August 21, 2026 at 12:19, about 2 minutes long. Want me to pull up the full transcript, get an AI summary, or export it as a PDF?
You: Summarize it and pull out the action items.
Claude + Transkriptor: Here's the summary for weekly_standup… [summary appears]. Action items: [bullet list appears].
Privacy & Security
Read-Only Access: The Transkriptor connector can retrieve your transcripts, summaries, and account info — but it does not modify, delete, upload, or create anything in your account.
Your Data Only: Claude only accesses transcripts tied to your own signed-in Transkriptor account. It cannot see data from other users.
Secure Sign-In: The connection uses your existing Transkriptor credentials or Google account. No API keys or tokens to copy by hand.
Free Accounts Supported: Free-tier Transkriptor accounts are fully supported through the Claude connector.
How to Disconnect
To revoke Claude's access to your Transkriptor data, go to Claude → + → Connectors → Manage connectors, find Transkriptor, and remove the connection. This immediately ends all access to your account. Your transcripts in Transkriptor remain unaffected.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to Do |
|---|---|
| Claude asks me to sign in again | Your session expired — sign in to Transkriptor again when prompted and retry your request. |
| "No transcripts found" | Confirm you're signed into the correct Transkriptor account and that the file has finished processing. |
| Summary isn't available yet | The AI summary may still be generating — wait a moment and ask again. |
| Transkriptor toggle is off in chat | Click + → Connectors and make sure the Transkriptor toggle is turned on. |
| PDF download link doesn't work | Download links are temporary and expire — ask Claude for a fresh export. |
