What You Can Do

Once connected, you can interact with your Transkriptor data directly in ChatGPT using natural language. Here's what's possible:

Find Transcripts Ask: "Show me my recent transcriptions" or "Find the file called Q3 planning" Transkriptor lists your transcriptions, filterable by file name, date range, and duration.

Read a Full Transcript Ask: "Open the full transcript of that meeting" Returns the complete transcript text with timestamps and speaker labels.

Get a Meeting Summary Ask: "Summarize the Q1 Product Roadmap Review and list the action items" Returns the AI-generated summary with key points, decisions made, and action items.

Check Your Account Info Ask: "How many minutes do I have left?" or "What plan am I on?" Shows your name, email, remaining minutes, preferred language, current plan, status, and renewal date.

Export as PDF Ask: "Export that transcript as a PDF" Generates the transcript as a PDF and returns a temporary download link.

Example Conversation

You: Show me my recent transcriptions.

ChatGPT + Transkriptor: Here are your recent transcripts: Q1_Product_Roadmap_Review.mp3 (47 min), Customer_Call_Acme_Onboarding.mp3 (32 min), Engineering_Standup.mp3 (18 min). Which one would you like to open?

You: Summarize the Q1 Product Roadmap Review and list the action items.

ChatGPT + Transkriptor: Here's the summary and action items for Q1 Product Roadmap Review… [summary and action items appear]. Would you like the full transcript or a PDF export?

The typical flow is: find your transcripts → pick one → ask for the summary, full transcript, or PDF.

Privacy & Security

Read-Only Access: The Transkriptor app can retrieve your transcripts, summaries, and account info — but it does not modify, delete, or create anything in your account.

Secure Sign-In: The connection uses your existing Transkriptor credentials or Google account. No API keys, no tokens, no manual configuration.

No Internal IDs Exposed: Internal account identifiers and system fields are automatically filtered out. Only human-readable information (name, email, minutes, plan, etc.) is shown.

Free Accounts Supported: Free-tier Transkriptor accounts are fully supported through the ChatGPT app.
